Building Process
I founded Stelle Construction in 1979 and am proud to say that we have become a preferred builder of surgi-centers, health clubs, churches, banks and doctors parks. What drives our operation and fuels our success is a strong commitment to a Quality First philosophy. The success of Stelle Homes comes in part from its strong foundation in Stelle Construction. We use these same quality control standards and stringent building requirements in our residential operations. I am committed to bringing this quality and professionalism to your new home construction.
~JD Stelle, President
I came to Stelle Homes to join J D in taking Stelle Homes to new heights! While we remain committed to our core values of quality and customer service, we are excited to expand into new markets and provide innovative plans, projects and building systems. In addition, I bring to Stelle Homes my personal commitment to a quality product, honesty and integrity, and open communication during all phases of your home building experience. Both J D and I each have over 30 years experience in the real estate business. Not only have we seen the changes in our market, but we have been a driving force behind them. I am excited to bring my experience and commitment to you!

First, you need to meet with a loan officer, your credit files will be reviewed and the loan officer will tell you how much you can readily qualify for . Based on this information, the lender will provide a pre-approval letter, which shows your borrowing power.
"Pre-Approval" is not a final loan commitment, the pre-approval letter can be shown to listing brokers when bidding on a home. It demonstrates your financial strength and shows that you have the ability to go through with a purchase. This information is important to owners since they do not want to accept an offer that is likely to fail because financing cannot be obtained.
At this stage you have already chosen a house plan. The builder will then prepare a contract. A closing date will be determined and a deposit will be required.
You've found a great location, selected a floor plan designed to fit your lifestyle - now you're ready to finalize those little details that make a house your dream home. Our exclusive New Home Design Studio gives you convenient

A final walk-through is not a home inspection. It is not the time to begin negotiations with the seller to do repairs, nor is it a contingency. A final walk-through is an inspection performed anywhere from a few hours to five days before closing, and its primary purpose is to make certain that the property is in the condition you agreed to buy-- that agree- upon repairs, if any, were made and nothing has gone wrong with the home since you last looked at it.
Buyers are often pressed for time as the day draws near for closing, which means buyers can be tempted to pass on the final walk-through. It is never a good idea to forgo the final walk-through.
